Distribution blocks: Distribution of energy made easy with large cross sections
The demands on
distribution blocks are increasing. Often the energy has to be
redistributed in plants and machines in order to supply additional consumers
such as motors - of course as safely and efficiently as possible. Ever
larger conductor cross-sections with minimum space requirements bring
distribution blocks into the focus of users.
The distribution blocks from HORA eTec (PDB series) are characterized by a high degree of user friendliness, cost efficiency and security. Wherever energy is fed in and redistributed, and this with comparatively large conductor cross sections, they are the optimal solution. All versions are approved for connection with aluminum and copper conductors. This is made possible by a special coating on the brass body in the entire component.
Stair construction of the distributor blocks for visible conductor entry
The innovative design lays the foundation for the high user-friendliness of the distribution blocks from HORA eTec. Thanks to the innovative staircase design of the brass body, the conductor entry through the transparent cover is visible at all times. This simplifies the installation of the distribution blocks by the installer and gives the installer a high level of security when connecting the conductors.
In any case, users achieve cost savings through the optimized design. For example, the simplified screw assembly brings a high time-saving effect. Because there are no brake screws, there is no loss of torque when mounting.
The loss protection of the screws in the plastic housing thanks to dome technology protects against screw loss. Whether quick mounting on TS 35 mounting rail according to DIN EN 60715 / EN 50022 or direct screwing onto a mounting plate: the distribution blocks from HORA eTec can always be installed variably and quickly.
Universal feed of round and flat conductors in distribution blocks
The distribution blocks from HORA eTec enable both round and flat conductors to be fed in. At the outlets, installers expect a large number of smaller terminal points for further energy distribution. In addition, the number of outlets can be easily and safely expanded.
Because the distribution blocks can be added and expanded as required. There are phase rails for the smaller distribution blocks and as accessories for the larger pre-assembled flat copper bridges. With these accessories, users can even triple the number of outlets.
This enables installers to distribute the energy to many other conductors with just one access, instead of redistributing the energy with additional cables. All distribution blocks can also be combined with one another in any way - and the modular design makes it very easy to build up multi-pole systems.

Distribution blocks take increasing security requirements into account
All versions are finger-safe on all sides in accordance with EN 50274 and the short-circuit strength according to the high SCCR standard also ensures a high level of safety. As a result, the distribution blocks from HORA eTec meet the ever increasing safety requirements for connection technology.
The distribution blocks for neutral conductors are equipped with transparent blue covers as standard. In addition, the individual names for the connections are already applied in the plastic housing. The ergonomic design with rounded edges virtually eliminates the risk of injury for installers.
The distribution blocks from HORA eTec are approved worldwide according to VDE, UL, CSA, FI and EAC. The plastic housings are self-extinguishing and halogen-free. HORA eTec offers individual brand labeling and delivery in customized industrial packaging.
